Alex, Hairstylist
Charles, Model
One of the most stylish siblings I’ve seen, I spotted them on a night out and I can definitely say Canterbury is leaving me rather impressed! This awesome duo gave into my demands for a picture and voila! I love the bold statement of the triple sole creepers (that you can’t see! haha), the basic mesh shirt from Charles, the leather high waisted shorts from Alex and the very Infamous Boy London T shirt that has taken the fashion world by storm. It takes me back to the days of the classic punk, the Notting Hill rave scene… think The Clash.

The band that is Sister Gracie will be hitting Canterbury today at the Picture house to celebrate the launch of my friend, James Buckley’s new Collection ‘Rupert and Buckley 2012 Collection.
I have been awaiting the comeback of this amazing duo, since the last time I saw them perform last year in Canterbury, a 45 minute set of their lazily titled ‘EP’ which literally blew me away! Sister Gracie boasts an electro sound/indie/rock, a combination of genre which is just music to my ears! Personally, when i first heard them I thought of Pink Floyd, from 60s influences of a psychedelic sound mixed with alternative rock beats from drum guy, Liam. Aesthetically pleasing (yes i have just compared him to artwork! ) Max on vocals and guitar impresses us with his funky dance moves, similar to what we see from frontman Ed Mac from Friendly Fires (Just watch the feet!). Besides the music, it’s worth noting Sister Gracie’s incredible fashion sense, showcasing a modern twist on 60s mod style.
I’m so stoked about seeing them today as this will be their last UK Tour for a very long time, so if your down in Canterbury tonight, make sure you head to The Picture House to see Sister Gracie perform at 9pm and support the Rupert and Buckley brand!
